What does everyone feed?

So I was wondering what everyone feeds?

At the moment I feed Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish... and it says it's the Allergen free formula?

Are there better foods out there for my boys than this?

There is a store near us that sells Orijen.. and I've heard that Orijen is a great brand?

What about Wellness Core.. the protein focused grain free?

Any thoughts and suggestions??

  1. Personally I feed raw. My in-laws refuse to feed raw and i have them feeding their dogs Pinnacle - rotating between the trout and potato and the duck and potato. Orijen is a very high quality food.

  2. I'm feeding 1/2 to 3/4 cup of EVO reduced fat kibble, supplemented with salmon oil, in the morning; at night the furkids get raw meat and veggies, sometimes a little brown rice

  3. Orijen is a great food. I fed that for a while. Natural Balance is a good food though- if they are doing well on it I wouldn't mess around too much.

  4. I feed mainly raw with vegetables, supplementing with salmon oil. But they also get kibble on the nights John feeds dinner. I currently buy Great Life (http://www.doctorsfinest.com/) . It has a freeze dried raw coating and I get the grain free variety. The raw made a huge difference in their coats and I am sure the salmon oil helped as well.

  6. it's always lovely when Uno conveniently gets sick when I started incorporating the new food to his diet. Perhaps it was the cardboard that he ate and part of his new goldfish stuffed animal that caused the explosive bum and excessive vomitting the other day.

I'm hoping to try to reintroduce it to him again this weekend and hope it goes well. Coop loves the Orijen! Probably b/c it smells like cat food.
